Big Basin Cafe

This airy, bright, family-owned and operated coffee shop sits in the middle of Saratoga Village on Big Basin Way. Locals and visitors enjoy their coffee and light fare inside the cafe or on the adjacent, dog-friendly patio.

Big Basin Cafe serves certified organic coffee from Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Java and Sumatra. Twice a week these Roastmaster Grade One beans are fresh-roasted on site and offered up in a variety of special drinks. Twenty different latte flavors are on tap.

The Dutch Shot is a favorite of bike riders preparing to ascend the mountains up Big Basin Way. This coffee is cold brewed for twelve hours to deliver a smooth, delicious energy boost.

The Cafe is also a great stop for flavorful, fresh, light meals, including many vegan options and a host of classic selections, like six different sandwiches. Hot quiches, Mac and Cheese and Sausage Empanadas are menu favorites and hot soups await hungry customers.

Want a treat? Twelve different varieties of dairy-free Italian gelato are offered as scoops or in gelato shakes. There’s also a broad selection of fresh cookies and cakes available.
