Conveniently located at the corner of East Main Street and College Avenue, Purple Onion Cafe is just beyond the Highway 17 overpass bridge, near the entrance to Los Gatos Creek Trail and just down the hill from Testarossa Winery — a short stroll from Hotel Los Gatos and the Tollhouse Hotel.

Purple Onion builds on tradition and a melange of culture that is uniquely this region's in Northern California. Our tastes run eclectic, but everything we bring to table for you makes its own kind of sense. The same sense our parents (and theirs) practiced, when picking supper fresh from the fields. The sense of local cuisine—Santa Clara Valley cuisine, Los Gatos cuisine—with a few Greek or Italian or other special ingredients added in.
