We are a peaceful oasis tucked among the redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains just 20 minutes from Silicon Valley. Our non-profit Retreat and Conference Center offers warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, and private meeting and dining space for groups of 5 to 200 people.
Our 67-acres give you a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and take time to communicate more clearly and deeply with your colleagues — whether you're here for a faculty meeting, church retreat, arts workshop, or strategic planning session.
This is Presentation Center . . . much more inviting than a hotel, and much more cost-effective than comparable facilities. Surrounded by nature and supported by attentive staff, your group will be able to experience the very most from its time here. And, the flexible configuration of our facilities guarantees the privacy to fully concentrate on your particular goals.
The professional and business organizations that make use of Presentation Center's unique location appreciate the close and convenient proximity to the center of Silicon Valley (just 20 minutes from Mineta San Jose International Airport) coupled with being removed from TV, faxes and email.
Yet, for those groups that need it, we provide wireless Internet access for guests in all public areas and conference rooms, wired access in some locations, and AV equipment for loan or a modest rental fee.
Few regret the spotty cell phone reception saying it aids in truly being away from the office!
For those out-of-session times, we provide a wide variety of recreational opportunities from hiking on our own trails or in the Mid-Peninsula Open Space Preserve, to sports, to indoor games and cozy conversation areas. The coffee room in our Main Building is open around the clock, and the Dining Room is open until 10:00 PM for people to work informally in small groups, relax with colleagues, and enjoy complimentary beverages.
Our Mission
Presentation Center is an interfaith retreat and conference center sponsored by the Sisters of the Presentation, a Catholic religious congregation.
Building on our faith tradition, we, Sisters and staff, offer warm hospitality in beautiful and peaceful surroundings for all those who seek respite, reflection and renewal of mind, body, and spirit.
In keeping with our congregational commitment to environmental justice and education, we invite all our guests to reflect on their need to revere and preserve the earth and their responsibility to work toward a just and sustainable future for all creation.
We are committed to support and encourage those working to promote a society where the dignity of each person is respected and where the poor and marginalized, especially women, are treated with justice and compassion.

Whether you seek individual respite or are part of a large retreat group, we can provide the setting you need to meet your needs, with meeting, gathering, and worship spaces to accommodate up to 195 people.
