Butter Paddle

The Butter Paddle, located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos, California. This unique shop, founded in 1967 and run entirely by trained volunteers (who do the buying, staffing and displays), was the first kitchen gift shop in Santa Clara County. Since then, the Shop has evolved to include a wide variety of pottery, glass and metal wares, personal items and fine home accessories.

All proceeds are donated to EMQ FamiliesFirst and benefit a broad range of services for children and families who are struggling to recover from abuse and neglect.

For over 40 years, the Shop’s more than 70 volunteers, all local from Santa Clara County, are committed to making your shopping experience a good one. Distinctive, upscale gifts of all price ranges, as well as custom wrapping and helpful customer service, have long been hallmarks of the Butter Paddle tradition.
