Just a hop, skip and a jump from San Jose and Los Gatos, Cinnabar Winery sits atop Big Basin Way in Saratoga Village. Cinnabar’s handcrafted wines are presented by a knowledgeable and gracious staff in a relaxed setting surrounded by contemporary decor with warm wood tones.
In addition to the critically acclaimed wines, customers are invited to browse an array of books, wine-related gifts and Cinnabar logo-wear, or attend seminars that are as exciting as they are educational.
Established by Tom Mudd in 1981, Cinnabar produces award-winning wines from the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Central Coast of California, and other distinguished California growing regions.
Cinnabar wines are approachable enough to drink on their own, yet sufficiently complex to enjoy with a variety of foods. Winemaker George Troquato likes to balance the elements of acidity, tannin and mouthfeel. The manifestation of that balance is determined by the varietal makeup of the wine and the location of the fruit source.
