The beauty of this Estate is its tranquil and luxurious setting with French country architecture and a dazzling view of the Silicon Valley.  Over 600 private acres lend themselves to the exclusivity of the property and offer a unique setting in which to host your guests.

Wine and entertainment have gone hand and hand at The Mountain Winery for more than 100 years.  Paul Masson began the tradition of entertaining groups in the courtyard in front of his winery building.  Politicians, movie stars, authors and artists who frequented the sumptuous dinner parties at the Winery include President Herbert Hoover, Charlie Chaplin, John Steinbeck and Anna Held.  The entertainment tradition continues to this day.  The summer concert series was added in 1958 and has run every summer since.

The vineyards are planted with the same varietals that Paul Masson brought over from his native Burgundy:  Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.  The Mountain Winery’s unique climate and well drained soil are once again producing premium wine worthy of acclaim and are available at the winery.  Wine Tasting is typically open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 5pm or can be enjoyed all year long through the Mountain Winery Wine Club.

From 1901 to 1952, the Winery’s most unique feature was its wine.  However from 1958 to the present, the concert series has been its claim to fame.  Top acts such as Miles Davis, Tony Bennett, Ringo Starr, Stevie Wonder, Robert Plant and Don Henley have put on memorable performances.  Although the Winery draws in big names and the concerts are quite lively, the venue keeps the shows very intimate and gives a unique experience to each guest.  The Mountain Winery offers the ultimate entertainment experience with pre-show dining options and fine wine offerings.
