Skov Winery

Skov Winery produces award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Zinfandel. The name Skov (pronounced "skô") means "forest" in Danish, tying together our Danish background with our winery's long-time home in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

At Skov Winery, we focus on finding the best quality fruit within the Santa Cruz Mountains and letting the fruit naturally express itself with minimal handling. Skov wines reflect the natural characteristics of the grapes from the vineyard with its unique soil type and the various microclimates that exist from the cool ocean influences and mountain terrain.

Skov Winery is a small family owned & operated winery set among scenic redwood trees of Scotts Valley, CA. Our family personally selects, harvests & bottles the finest fruit that grows here in the Santa Cruz Mts. We specialize in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but also make other fabulous varietals that are grown here locally. For a boutique winery our wines are reasonably priced between $15-26/btl.

Our tasting room is open every Saturday from noon to 4:30pm, with a $5 tasting fee which is waived with wine purchase. We have a picnic area outside which is available on the first come, first serve basis. We also have an indoor 'party room' that is available for rent.
