Our winery is near San Jose and Saratoga, on a hill overlooking Los Gatos. Visit us and experience the Bay Area’s oldest continuously operating winery. Internationally recognized for outstanding Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah, Testarossa Winery is located in downtown Los Gatos at the historic 19th century old Novitiate built in 1888. We are fifteen minutes from the San Jose Airport and five short minutes from Highway 17.

Our Story

Testarossa Winery was founded in 1993 by the husband and wife team of Rob and Diana Jensen. Leaving high-tech careers behind, they started Testarossa by producing 25 cases in their garage. Today, Testarossa produces over 15,000 cases annually and we have earned hundreds of 90-point-plus scores on our wines from all the top wine publications.

Our Wines

Our winemaker works in the vineyards with our growers to balance the vines so they produce rich and flavorful fruit. We create wines of uncommon complexity for you to enjoy, while maintaining the beautiful balance of natural wine flavors, hints of toasty new oak, a backbone of natural acidity, and silky smooth texture that make our wines feel as good as they taste.

Our historic Tasting Room is open daily from 11am to 5pm.  Our unique facility is also perfect for your next special event.
